<B>No third party submittals </B><BR>US citizen or permanent resident only. <BR><BR><B>Position Description:</B><BR>Sr Java Developer to join an Agile Focused Test Driven Development Team. Developer will be expected to participate in daily scrum meetings and be accountable for identifying and delivering their tasks to support the defined stories for the sprint. <BR><BR><B>Responsibilities:</B><BR> <UL> <LI>Participate in 2 week sprint cycles by writing stories in preparation for sprint, participating in meetings and completing work for sprint <LI>Day to day development work and updating of tasks <LI>Responsible for assisting in breaking down task work and estimating hours for tasks <LI>Technical Analysis &amp; Design as needed to present approach to solving problems within stories. <LI>Might include visio diagrams, word documents or models as needed. <LI>Develop and maintain system configuration documentation. </LI></UL> <P><B><U>Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:</U></B></P> <UL> <LI>Senior level Java developer with 7+ years experience in enterprise application development primarily in Java and J2EE technologies. <LI>Junit 3-4 experience is a must <LI>1+ year Spring 2.x framework and solid understanding of common patterns/concepts used in a spring based application. <LI>Solid understanding of IOC (Inversion of Control) and DI (Dependency Injection) <LI>6 months JMS experience either via spring or straight JMS <LI>Solid understanding of design patterns <LI>Ability to work in a changing, evolving environment and contribute to solving problems. <LI>6 months maven 2.x experience in both configuration and usage. <LI>experience with SVN or other like source code revision control systems, such as, CVS <LI>experience/understanding of enterprise integration patterns and working with an enterprise service bus. <LI>ORM tool experience, such as hibernate or JPA. <LI>Solid understanding of common patterns employed in the development and deployment of a spring based service layer. <LI>eclipse and/or Netbeans experience <LI>experience working in a mature Agile Based environment</LI></UL> <P><B><U>Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience:</U></B></P> <UL> <LI>OSGI experience helpful but not required</LI></UL>df-lj More...
