SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for selling burglar, fire, and medical emergency alarm systems and security monitoring products/services to commercial businesses, generating new commercial opportunities, and qualifying opportunities generated by the Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Prospect for, and develop new commercial accounts

* Develop contact database of customers, prospects, and referral agents

* Establish relationships with current customers to augment services and to expand volume of installations

* Provide presentation/demonstration of alarm systems and security monitoring products and services

* Schedule and conduct security review of prospective customer location and analyze customer's requirements

* Answer customer questions about products, prices, product uses, and billing

* Design and recommend security system to meet customer's needs

* Schedule customers for installation of equipment, complete all necessary contractual paperwork and provide post-installation follow-up communication

* Collaborate with local branch operations staff to achieve installations with minimal technical challenges

* Provide service support to customers including scheduling of service calls when requested, following up on the completion of service requests and the satisfaction of the customer after completion

* Meet individual and contribute toward departmental sales and installation goals and minimum standards
