<BR><B> No third party submittals </B> <BR><B> US citizen or permanent resident. </B> <BR> <BR><B> Position Description: </B> <BR> <BR> The Build and Release Engineer will work closely with the Sr. Build and Release Engineer to define, develop, document and coordinate the product build and installer process within the Microsoft-heavy technologies of SQA and Production environments. <BR>To assist in the successful release of proprietary software and all related third-party components that comprise the application platform. <BR> <BR><B> Responsibilities: </B> <BR> <UL> <LI> Assist in the definition and maintenance of set-ups, builds, automation, and best practices to ensure a repeatable and traceable approach to release processes and procedures. <LI> Solve issues involving iterative development of simultaneous projects with fixed-date release schedules. <LI> Maintain build environment, Scripting and automating the build process, maintenance of software revision history <LI> Ensure the delivery of software release notes from the developers, and validate delivery requirements against checklist. <LI> Test the build and installer packaging using InstallShield, Windows Installer, batch files, and MSI chaining. <LI> Collaborate with the Sr. Engineer, R&D, and Client Service Associates, customers and the Development Manager to resolve setup problems. <LI> Document the build system and process. <LI> Administer the tools used in the Build and Release process. <LI> Ensure all release processes, policies and procedures are properly communicated and documented. </LI></UL> <P><B><U> Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: </U></B> </P> <UL> <LI> Must have direct prior experience with Build and Release in a Microsoft development environment. <LI> InstallShield <LI> Windows Installer <LI> MSI Scripting <LI> 3 years professional level experience in working and developing build automation scripts. <LI> Monitor the execution of automated unit tests <LI> Maintain and administer the build/release tools/environment <LI> Proficiency with Microsoft Team Foundation Server <LI> Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. </LI></UL> <P><B><U> Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Experience: </U></B> </P> <UL> <LI> Medical background with medical terminology training is preferred. </LI></UL>df-lj More...
