For this contract-to-hire position, you will provide support for a company with 99 sites consisting of leading edge technologies such as BladeCenter, SAN, Microsoft, AS400, Shoretel and Cisco networks.

Essential Functions:

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the help desk and all backend server and network technologies
  
• Maintaining IT compliance through systems and technologies
  
• Implementation of preventative maintenance services to avoid potential issues
  
• Daily review of servers, workstations, network, printers and software packages
  
• Installing patches to operating systems, network equipment and application software to address known performance and security issues
  
• Providing emergency service to employees as required: troubleshoot and resolve network, server, workstation and software problems remotely and via phone support
  
• Installing servers, workstations, printers, routers, firewalls, wireless, Voice over IP and other hardware
  
• Installing operating systems, networking software/firmware and application software
  
• Configuring and tuning of software to meet employee functional, performance and security requirements
  
• Designing of networks and systems to meet requirements and present to management for review and acceptance
  
• Active monitoring of Internet connectivity, servers and software
  
• Participating in the annual budgeting and planning process
  
• Working with the all teams on projects and issues
  
• Providing and keeping up-to-date documentation for all company infrastructure
